Keep the stages separate

A lead on a list is not a call. A queued item is not an attempt, an attempt is not an answered conversation, and a completed conversation is not a sale. Write the stage names in your review sheet before calculating rates. This makes it possible to explain what changed without substituting a convenient counter for the outcome you actually care about. Labbie's outcome and transcript views support review of available records; they do not independently prove that an appointment happened or that revenue was earned.

Read the outcome in context

A no-answer, busy, failed, operator-ended or interrupted result needs a different response from a completed conversation. Check the timestamp, campaign and intended lead before deciding what to do. A technical status can describe how an attempt ended without describing the person's interest. Avoid automatically interpreting a failed attempt as rejection or a completed status as a qualified opportunity. If a transcript is unavailable, leave the conversational interpretation unknown. Do not reconstruct missing speech from the campaign goal or a later sales result.

Review available transcripts against approved facts

Look for the lead's actual question, any uncertainty in the agent's answer and the next step that was discussed. Names, amounts and mixed-language speech deserve particular attention. Compare price or offer statements with the information approved for that campaign. Record a correction when the text is unclear rather than silently editing the history into a more successful conversation. An AI summary or transcript can help a reviewer find a question, but a person remains responsible for deciding what the evidence supports.

Give follow-up one owner

Use a human-owned review queue for leads needing attention. State who should respond, what they need to confirm and which contact preferences apply. If a person mentions a viewing, visit or meeting, verify the date and availability with them before calling it a confirmed appointment. An appointment-focused style is not proof of automatic calendar booking. A clear callback note should distinguish an interested lead from someone who agreed to a specific next action, and it should preserve an immediate request to stop contact.

Calculate only rates with defined denominators

When evaluating an approved exercise, record the source of each stage count and the exact period. A connection rate might use eligible real attempts as its denominator, while a transcript-review rate uses the conversations for which a transcript was available. These are different questions and should not share a label. Exclude simulations, demonstrations and synthetic fixtures from customer production counts. Keep the scope of unique contacts distinct from repeated attempts so a retry does not become another customer in a growth statistic.

Close the loop without inventing attribution

A sales system can record a later meeting or purchase, but a matching name alone does not prove the AI call caused it. Agree a joining method, a human confirmation step and a reporting window before claiming commercial impact. Review stop requests and incorrect statements before expanding the next exercise. Live calling release remains owner-gated; this page is a review method, not evidence that production calling is enabled. Use the product overview to confirm current availability and the preparation guide to improve the inputs your reviewers depend on.
